Commissions: Residential Landscapes

Taplow Riverside, Taplow, Bucks
(For Hunter Design and Berkeley Homes Thames and Chilterns Ltd)

We were commissioned to provide an eye catching design for the riverside marketing suite by the Thames in Taplow facing Maidenhead for and on behalf of Hunter Design and Berkeley Homes (Thames and Chilterns). The planting, paving, decking and lighting design for the suite have all be implemented and provide a welcome entrance for prospective buyers of new properties.

We also provided planting designs for three show homes and a whole street of new properties located along the Jubilee river and the site entrance form the A4 Bath Road. Taplow Riverside is a multi million pound development of the former Skindles hotel and the Mill Lane Paper Mill and features a new footbridge connection to Ray Mill Island on the Maidenhead side known as the Thames Riviera.
Vale House, Windsor Berkshire
(For Edgington Spink and Hyne Architects and Vale House Properties)

We were commissioned by Edgington Spink and Hyne architects to provide all the external works details for a prestigious urban design and residential development in West Windsor featuring 14 new houses with well sized rear gardens, a local park and roadside plantings and bespoke paving designs. The development is on a brownfield former industrial site adjacent to local allotment and a cemetery.

The building works will commence shortly, and the properties and landscape work are due to be completed next year. The development will provide a significant improvement to this area of Windsor that contains several vacant industrial premises. The images below show the typical planting and hard landscape details along with views of the site in March 2018.
Red Oak House, Fulmer, Bucks
(For McColl Developments Ltd)

We completed a tree condition survey & a comprehensive planting scheme for this prestigious development in Buckinghamshire countryside close by to Pinewood Film Studios. The development has been completed to a high standard & was recently on the residential market for £3.9million.
Tentelow Lane, Norwood Green, Southall, London Borough of Ealing
(For McColl Developments Ltd)

We were commissioned to work on the landscape & planting design for the land adjacent to The Plough Inn, Tentelow Lane. Working alongside architects & planners involved in the development, we provided detailed working drawings including detailed planting schedules & seeding details based on proposed interventions.
GKL House Proposed Residential Development, Cookham, Berkshire
(For Connaught Land Ltd)

Goodger Design Associates were asked by Connaught Land Ltd to prepare a landscape scheme to enhance the setting of the proposed residential scheme, located at the existing GKL office site, in Cookham with the building designed by Heighway Associates. The site’s landscape setting is important both visually & as viable townscape. The landscape design complements the architectural design in responding effectively to local constraints such as local flooding threats, proximity to a busy road, sloping ground & tight site boundaries. The landscape proposals for the public frontages are practical & realisable whilst planting, paving, & lighting proposals provide an attractive setting. The proposal is currently at the planning stage.
Powney Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire
(for Persimmon Homes/Westbury Group)

We worked closely with the architect & engineer to produce an attractive external works layout including a private recreational space for residents. An existing mature Lime tree was retained & incorporated into the external works design. Parking areas allow rainwater infiltration in line with current SUDS (sustainable drainage) requirements. The masterplan drawing was presented to local councillors & planning officers prior to our client gaining planning permission.
Roehampton Vale, Richmond, Surrey
(for Persimmon Homes/ Westbury Group)

We worked closely with the architect & engineer to produce an attractive external works layout including private gardens for residents. The site overlooks the Richmond Park with its attractive backdrop of mature trees. The planting & external works design took careful note of this sensitive location & successful consultations took place with Royal Parks officers. The scheme received planning permission & the condition for a sensitive landscape scheme was met.
Highleigh Fields, Chichester, Sussex
(For Berkeley Homes South Ltd)

We were commissioned to provide an attractive planting & external works layout for this prestigious development of new luxury homes on a brownfield site in southern England between Chichester & Selsey. We designed the gardens & reception areas for the show home & incorporated designs for a gazebo liked by a pergola to the rear patio of the show home. The design was provides cheerful splashes of colour using spring bulbs & plants with evergreen foliage in a range of hues attractive throughout the whole year.
