Vauxhall Missing Link Competition London

We entered the Vauxhall missing link competition after landscape architecture practices were invited to put forward proposals to enhance the Vauxhall Thames riverside by the Vauxhall One Business Improvement District. We teamed up with another local landscape architecture practice Draffin Associates to produce design proposals to proposals to attractively link the Battersea Power station and new American embassy sites with the South Bank and Lambeth Palace. The project aims to revive the Vauxhall pleasure gardens that were famous for light entertainment in the 1700s and 1800s. Our proposals feature new enteratianment facilities, streetscape enhancments and a new footbridge linking Vauxhall with the Tate Britain art gallery on the Thames’ north bank.
